It’s the little things that make a big difference. Did you ever stay somewhere and have to ask for another pillow because the ones supplied were old and flat? Not here – let’s start with a Queen-size bed, Goose-down doonas, and enough fluffy pillows to satisfy the fussiest sleeper!
While the showers use water provided direct from nature, heated by our own wood stove and the sun, filtered rainwater is provided for drinking. The ensuite is larger than you would imagine and decorated with quality fittings, grab handles are fitted for extra safety, together with a shower seat.
With a desk and small table and chairs, fan and oil heater, you are prepared for all conditions. The suite opens onto the verandah, facing north to take in the magnificent views over the valley of Cougal, which includes the highest low railway bridge (without superstructure) in New South Wales which crosses Gradys Creek.
